Herbert Ashwin Budd
Herbert Ashwin Budd (1881–1950) was a British painter known for oil portraits and landscapes. Born in Staffordshire, he studied at the Royal College of Art and exhibited at the Royal Academy and Paris Salon. A Royal Institute of Oil Painters member, he designed London Transport posters in the 1930s and taught for twenty years at St Martin’s School of Art.
